ChemPriceHub, October 27 — On October 27, the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for Jiangshan Jinshi New Materials’ annual production project of 15,000 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF₆) was publicly announced. The project involves an investment of RMB 120 million and utilizes existing plant facilities while constructing new workshop buildings and a comprehensive utility building. It includes technical upgrades to Phase I’s 5,000-ton/year solid LiPF₆ production line. Upon completion, the facility will have a total capacity of 5,000 tons/year of solid LiPF₆ and 10,000 tons/year of liquid lithium salt (equivalent to approximately 3,000 tons/year of solid LiPF₆), with lithium fluoride and sulfuric acid produced as by-products.
