The Jiangsu DOP market price fluctuated in the range of 9,950–10,450 yuan/mt delivered during the week. During the week, rising crude oil and propylene prices boosted buying interest in the DOP market. End users and traders gradually restocked on a need-to-basis. Smooth transactions in the first half of the week supported DOP prices in their continued rise. As PA and 2-EH prices followed upward, the second half of the week shifted to cost-driven gains in DOP prices. During the week, major suppliers mostly maintained volume-controlled sales strategies.
3. Market Influence Factors Analysis
4. Next Week's Market Forecast
Propylene prices are running at high levels. The feedstock 2-EH market is supported by cost factors, and spot prices are still expected to rise; cost support in the PA market is relatively strong, and prices continue to rise. Judging from feedstock trends, DOP production costs are expected to continue rising. The DOP market had transaction support during the week. Next week, spot availability in East China is expected to remain limited, with continued queuing. Costs and spot supply will still provide relatively strong upward momentum to DOP market prices. However, as market prices gradually climb, downstream end users' acceptance still needs to be watched. Overall, DOP prices remain on an upward trend.
