On January 28, the mainstream ex-factory price of 52% powdered potassium sulfate rose to 3,950–4,150 yuan/ton, an increase of 50 yuan/ton. This price hike is driven by significant increases in the prices of raw materials, potassium chloride and sulfuric acid, coupled with a sustained tight supply in the market, leading to a continuous rise in potassium sulfate prices.
