This week, the central tendency of domestic DBP market prices shifted downward, and market sentiment remained largely wait-and-see. It is reported that raw material n-butanol prices continued to decline, whereas the central tendency of naphthalene-based phthalic anhydride prices rose. Consequently, DBP production costs remain high, providing cost-side support for prices. With the National Day holiday approaching, downstream end-users engaged in limited and cautious stockpiling, primarily purchasing on dips. Producers maintained low inventory levels and actively offered discounts to stimulate sales.
