For ethylene-based vinyl acetate, the weekly average price of glacial acetic acid feedstock in the Jiangsu region was RMB 3,099/ton, and the weekly average price of Northeast Asian ethylene was USD 1,030/ton. Based on Chempricehub's cost estimation formula, the theoretical cost of ethylene-based vinyl acetate this week was RMB 6,451/ton. The current weekly average supply price of ethylene-based vinyl acetate in East China (Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical ex-works price) was RMB 6,260/ton, resulting in a theoretical weekly average gross profit of RMB -191/ton.

For calcium carbide-based vinyl acetate, the weekly average price of glacial acetic acid in North China was RMB 3,067/ton, and the weekly average price of calcium carbide in Northwest China was RMB 2,470/ton. According to Chempricehub's cost estimation formula, the theoretical cost of calcium carbide-based vinyl acetate this week was RMB 5,815.7/ton. The current supply price of Great Wall Energy Chemical vinyl acetate in the Jiangsu region was RMB 6,210/ton, yielding a theoretical weekly average gross profit of RMB 394.3/ton.
