Chempricehub, September 14 – Jushi New Energy (Sichuan) has commenced operations for its project in Gaoxian County, Sichuan Province, designed to process 80,000 tons of spent lithium-ion batteries annually. With a total investment of RMB 300 million, the project plans to establish 10 production lines, targeting an annual output value of RMB 1.2 billion at full capacity. The first phase, comprising four production lines with an annual processing capacity of 40,000 tons, is already operational. Future phases will introduce hydrometallurgical processes to extract high-value products such as nickel sulfate and lithium carbonate.
