ChemPriceHub reminds: China Aluminium Industry's alumina spot prices in many places have fallen.

Published on 2025-12-29

China Aluminium Industry Co., Ltd. reported a general decline in the aluminum oxide spot prices across various regions as of December 29, 2025, with details as follows: Shandong's aluminum oxide spot external prices were quoted at 2650 yuan/ton, Henan at 2740 yuan/ton, Shanxi at 2715 yuan/ton, Guizhou at 2840 yuan/ton; Guangxi at 2800 yuan/ton; compared to the previous trading day, the prices decreased by 25 yuan/ton, 20 yuan/ton, 30 yuan/ton, 10 yuan/ton, and 10 yuan/ton respectively. PriceSeek analyzed the aluminum oxide, giving it a multi-sided score of -1. The report highlighted that the average price drop was around 0.7%-1.1%, indicating a moderate downward pressure on the spot aluminum oxide prices due to relatively ample market supply or short-term weak demand. Given this, the assessment is classified as "moderate bearish" with a score of -1. Investors should pay attention to subsequent changes in supply and demand, such as inventory levels or downstream aluminum smelting demand, to gauge the possibility of price recovery.
