Chempricehub reminds: BASF's three world-class fragrance ingredient plants have officially commenced production.

May 9 - Recently, BASF's Aroma Ingredients business unit announced the official startup of three new world-scale production plants, including menthol and linalool units at its Ludwigshafen site in Germany, and a citral unit at its Zhanjiang site in China. This announcement follows the inauguration ceremony of BASF's Zhanjiang Verbund site on March 26, 2026. The total investment in the Ludwigshafen site alone amounts to several hundred million euros.
