In July 2026, China’s soda ash exports totaled 282,300 tonnes, up 41,600 tonnes month-on-month, with an average export price of US$163.17 per tonne. Cumulative exports from January to July reached 1.7125 million tonnes, an increase of 558,500 tonnes over the same period last year, up 48.39%.
In July 2026, soda ash imports amounted to 29,700 tonnes, up 9,200 tonnes month-on-month, with an average import price of US$166.92 per tonne. Cumulative imports from January to July totaled 162,500 tonnes, an increase of 142,100 tonnes over the same period last year, up 696.80%.
In July 2026, China’s net soda ash exports stood at 203,100 tonnes, a year-on-year decrease of 7.77%.
