On October 14, Changzhou Xinyang’s phthalic anhydride (PA) plant, with a capacity of 100,000 tons/year, was shut down for maintenance. Due to oversold inventory conditions, the quoted price for PA rose to RMB 10,800 per ton, and orders are being accepted on a limited basis.
