Chempricehub, September 30 – On September 30, the acetic acid market in South China saw a price increase. The ex-works price was quoted at approximately RMB 4,700 per ton (ex-works basis), up by RMB 50 per ton. With low inventories among acetic acid producers and strong bullish sentiment from traders, downstream procurement remained primarily on an as-needed basis. As a result, the acetic acid market continued to trend firmly upward.
