I. Focus Points
In the previous working day, the upward momentum in the Shandong propylene market narrowed, with mainstream settlements referenced at 10,000-10,000 yuan/mt and an average price of 10,000 yuan/mt, up 100 yuan/mt from the previous working day. International crude oil prices extended their gains, shoring up market confidence, and low-end offers continued to edge higher. However, mounting cost pressure on downstream buyers made overall purchasing interest more cautious. Resistance to higher-priced deals became apparent, capping the upside for actual transactions.
In the previous working day, the Jiangsu n-butanol market was referenced at 8,750-8,750 yuan/mt ex-works. Market prices rose for a consecutive session; after feedstock propylene moved higher, cost-side support strengthened, market supply was limited, and downstream buying interest increased, lifting the market transaction center.
