Yesterday, the prices of toluene and xylene continued to decline, leading to an overall bearish market sentiment. However, with crude oil prices edging up overnight and paraxylene (PX) strengthening in the night session, market sentiment was buoyed to some extent, halting the decline in the spot market today. On the demand side, recent consumption has remained largely rigid, and intraday movements are expected to be rangebound.
