The mainstream spot offer range for xylene in East China is 6,110–6,220 yuan/ton, up 50 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. Recently, prices of toluene and xylene have been rising, and today the market continues to show a firm trend. International crude oil settled higher, and the aromatics segment performed well, providing strong support to the spot market. At present, the supply–demand pattern remains largely unchanged. The current price increase is mostly driven by external factors. Market participants are adopting a cautious purchasing attitude, and downstream buying enthusiasm remains moderate, keeping the market in a high-level fluctuation.
