On August 24, the maleic anhydride market in Shandong region showed a consolidating trend, with ex-works prices for solid maleic anhydride running around 7,500-7,900 yuan/ton, and ex-works prices for liquid maleic anhydride running around 7,200-7,500 yuan/ton. Downstream buyers mainly adopted a wait-and-see attitude.
