On July 6, Changzhou Xinyang's phthalic anhydride plant with a capacity of 100,000 tons/year operated at less than 50% of its capacity, with low inventory. The ex-works price of phthalic anhydride was quoted at 7,900 CNY/ton, down 150 CNY/ton from the previous quotation.
