On August 6, the PVC market in the Zibo region showed improvement, with prices edging up. The futures market turned positive, and spot prices followed suit, with dealers' quotations rising by 30-40 yuan today compared with yesterday. At present, the mainstream ex-warehouse price for Grade 5 calcium carbide process PVC is in the range of 4,450-4,500 yuan/ton.
