On August 4, Lihuayi Weiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. announced its "second adjustment" ex-factory settlement price for phenol at 8,850 RMB/ton and for acetone at 6,300 RMB/ton. These prices took effect from 11:00 on August 4. It is reported that the company's two phenol-acetone units with a total combined capacity of 700,000 tons/year are operating normally, with shipments proceeding as planned.
