On August 20, the PVC market in the Linyi area declined slightly. Futures prices edged lower after the midday session, and the spot market followed suit. Dealer quotations dropped by 20–30 yuan/ton compared with the previous day, with market sentiment generally stable and transactions fairly active. At present, the mainstream quotation for calcium carbide-based PVC Grade 5 stands in the range of 4,510–4,550 yuan/ton.
