On August 18, bromine prices in the Shandong region declined. Currently, the ex-works price range for bromine is approximately 39,000–40,000 RMB/tonne, down by about 500 RMB/tonne. Manufacturers remain reluctant to sell and maintain price-supportive sentiment, while traders are showing urgency to offload inventory, leading to a slight decline in transaction prices. End-users continue to adhere to a rigid-demand procurement strategy.
