Chempricehub, August 10 – On August 10, the acetic acid market in South China declined, with ex-works prices quoted at approximately 2,925 yuan/ton (self-pickup basis), down 25 yuan/ton. Acetic acid plant operating rates rose, while downstream demand remained weak, leading to subdued trading sentiment and a generally weak market trend.
