On August 10, auction and sales updates for some domestic butadiene producers: Dongming Petrochemical offered 168 tons for external sale, with a floor price of 10,380 yuan/ton; Satellite Chemical offered 224 tons for external sale, with a starting price of 10,300 yuan/ton. The domestic butadiene spot market showed a relatively firm tone, with rising inquiry activity. However, downstream buyers only replenished in small quantities on a need-to basis, limiting the upside. In the near term, the butadiene market is expected to maintain a narrow range fluctuation.
