On July 24, the latest phenol price from Sinopec & Tianjin Petrochemical (a joint venture between Sinopec and SABIC) increased by 300 yuan/ton, standing at 6,500 yuan/ton.
The 350,000 tons/year phenol-acetone plant of Sinopec & SABIC has entered normal operation. The products are primarily used for self-consumption, with a small amount for external sales. The manufacturer ships as planned.
