Chempricehub, August 12 – On August 12, 2026, port ethylene glycol (polyester grade, imported, mainly ethylene-based, minimum order 500 tons) spot contract basis quotes are as follows:
This week's contract (before Aug 14): Opening basis quote +450 to +425; the basis subsequently moved slightly lower and is currently quoted at +410 to +420.
Next week's contract (before Aug 21): Opening basis quote +430 to +450; the basis subsequently moved slightly lower and is currently quoted at +400 to +420.
Late August contract (before Aug 25): Opening basis quote +420 to +448; the basis subsequently moved slightly lower and is currently quoted at +400 to +410.
Late September contract (before Aug 25): Basis quote +100 to +130.
