On August 12, Lihuayi Weiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. reduced its ex-works settlement price for phenol by 50 yuan/ton to 8,400 yuan/ton. It is reported that the company's two phenol-acetone units, with a combined capacity of 700,000 tons/year, are operating normally and shipping as scheduled.
