On May 28, Yantai Wanhua's neopentyl glycol capacity stands at 80,000 tons. The bulk neopentyl glycol offered price is 8,250–8,400 RMB/ton, down by 200 RMB/ton. Actual transaction prices are mainly negotiated. The downstream market is declining, increasing downward pressure on isobutyraldehyde.
