On May 25, Yantai Wanhua’s neopentyl glycol capacity stands at 80,000 tons, with bulk neopentyl glycol quoted at 8,450–8,600 RMB/ton, down 400 RMB/ton from the previous quotation. Actual transaction prices are primarily determined through negotiation. The downstream market is declining, adding to the downward pressure on isobutyraldehyde.
