Bijie's million-ton lithium iron phosphate project is expected to commence production in August. The project initiated its planning and approval in October 2025, with a total investment of 7.323 billion yuan and covering an area of 873 mu. The overall plan aims for an annual production capacity of 1.04 million tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, to be constructed in three phases. Phase I has a designed capacity of 340,000 tons.
