The Bijie million-ton-grade lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) project is expected to commence production in August. The project initiated its planning and approval process in October 2025, with a total investment of 7.323 billion yuan, covering an area of 873 mu (approximately 58.2 hectares). The overall plan is to produce 1.04 million tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials annually, to be built in three phases in an orderly manner. The first phase is designed with an annual capacity of 340,000 tons.
