March 25th News: Samsung SDI recently announced that it has signed a long-term supply agreement with domestic battery material company L&F for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cathode materials. According to the agreement, over the next three years starting next year, Samsung SDI will purchase cathode materials worth approximately 1.6 trillion won from L&F for the production of LFP batteries used in energy storage systems. The contract is valid for three years and includes an option to extend for an additional three years.
