On May 28, methanol prices in the Shandong region increased: the methanol market price in Dongying, Shandong reached 3,000 CNY/ton (delivered, cash payment), up by 5 CNY/ton. The ex-works price for methanol in Jinan was quoted at 2,980–2,980 CNY/ton (factory pickup, cash payment), while the delivered price in Linyi was quoted at 3,010–3,030 CNY/ton (delivered, cash payment). In Zibo, Shandong, the methanol market negotiation price stood at 3,010 CNY/ton (delivered, cash payment). Local factories in central Shandong quoted methanol at 3,100–3,150 CNY/ton (ex-works, self-pickup).
