On September 9, the FOB Korea toluene price rose by USD 7/mt to USD 1,113/mt, while the FOB China toluene price increased by USD 5/mt to USD 1,110/mt.
In the Indian market, toluene demand is improving. CFR India toluene continues to see growing solvent demand driven by Diwali.
On the plant side, Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation’s No. 1 aromatics unit in Mailiao, Taiwan, China, is scheduled to shut down for maintenance from October 15 to 29.
