On September 22, acetic acid prices in the North China region rose. The delivered price to surrounding areas was around RMB 4,500 per tonne, an increase of RMB 50 per tonne. Inventory levels at acetic acid producers remained low, while strong support from methanol feedstock bolstered market sentiment. Downstream buyers adopted a wait-and-see approach, purchasing only as needed. Consequently, the upward trend in the acetic acid market continued.
