On September 14, acetic acid prices in the Jiangsu region were around CNY 3,975 per ton, up by CNY 25 per ton. Inventories at acetic acid producers remained low, while strong support from methanol feedstock bolstered market sentiment. Downstream buyers continued to procure on an as-needed basis, and the upward trend in the acetic acid market persisted.
