The mainstream spot quotation range for toluene in the East China market is 6,920–7,000 RMB/ton, down 50 RMB/ton from the previous trading day. Supported by a relatively strong performance in the aromatics night trading session and limited overall domestic supply pressure, merchants showed a clear inclination to hold prices. However, a sharp decline in crude oil overnight dampened market trading sentiment. On balance, the market prices of toluene and xylene are expected to maintain range-bound fluctuations in the short term.
