On August 17, Yantai Wanhua's neopentyl glycol (NPG) capacity stands at 80,000 tons/year. Bulk NPG quotations are 9,950–10,100 RMB/ton, up 200 RMB/ton from the previous level. Actual transaction prices are mainly subject to negotiation. Downstream market sentiment is improving, and support from rising isobutyraldehyde prices remains intact.
