In East China, the mainstream spot offer range for xylene stood at RMB 7,480–7,500/mt, up RMB 100/mt from the previous trading day. In the prior session, benzene and toluene prices moved higher. Although overnight crude oil settled lower, the aromatics complex strengthened during night trading, and with tight domestic spot supply, the market remained supported. Downstream players continued to restock on a need-to basis, while trading activity was subdued. In the near term, prices lack sufficient momentum for a sustained rally and are expected to maintain range-bound consolidation.
