South Korea has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into ethyl acetate originating from China.

Chempricehub, August 19 – According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on August 18, 2026, the Korea Trade Commission issued a notice initiating an anti-dumping investigation into ethyl acetate originating in China, following an application filed by the Korean producer Korea Alcohol Industrial Co., Ltd. The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025. The product under investigation falls under Korean tariff code 2915.31.0000. Unless otherwise extended (for up to two months), the preliminary determination is expected to be made within three months from the date of initiation.
