Chempricehub reported on September 3: On September 3, Inner Mongolia Xinao's methanol auction opened at a starting price of 3,020 yuan/mt, with a total volume of 2,500 mt; ultimately, 400 mt was transacted at this price, while the remainder was left unsold. In addition, the Phase I 600,000 mt/yr project is preliminarily scheduled to be shut down for maintenance on September 4, with an expected duration of 20 days. At present, the Phase II 600,000 mt/yr methanol project remains shut down.
