On September 3, PVC market prices in the Linyi area fell from recent highs. Futures fluctuated downward, and the spot market followed with declines. Dealers mainly offered lower prices to move goods, with quotes generally dropping 30–50 yuan compared with the previous trading day. Transactions were fairly active. Currently, the mainstream quote for calcium carbide process Grade 5 is in the range of 4,720–4,760 yuan/mt.
