On July 14, Yankuang Group methanol auction update: Yankuang Guohong methanol was sold through bidding, with a final ex-works cash settlement price of 2,470 CNY/tonne. Its 640,000-tonne-per-annum coal-to-methanol plant is operating with three furnaces in service. Yulin Yankuang methanol had a starting price of 2,170 CNY/tonne, with a total volume of 3,000 tonnes, and all tonnes were transacted at final prices ranging from 2,180 to 2,185 CNY/tonne. Both the Phase I 600,000-tonne-per-annum methanol plant and the Phase II 800,000-tonne-per-annum methanol project are operating smoothly.
