On August 31, the PVC market in the Zibo area operated with a firmer tone. Futures fluctuated upward, and spot prices followed suit with noticeable gains. Dealer quotations were scarce, with most preferring to negotiate on a case-by-case basis. Today, dealers generally offered at higher prices. At present, the mainstream ex-warehouse price for calcium carbide-based Grade 5 PVC stands at 4,650–4,690 yuan/ton.
