On August 26, the closing prices in the overseas methanol market fluctuated as follows: CFR Southeast Asia methanol settled at USD 526.5–527.5/ton, down USD 6/ton. FOB U.S. Gulf methanol settled at 137–139 cents/gallon, up 1 cent/gallon; European FOB Rotterdam methanol settled at EUR 397–399/ton, up EUR 1/ton.
