On August 24, the starting auction price for methanol at Yankuang (Yulin) was RMB 2,580/ton, with a total volume of 6,000 tons, ultimately fully transacted at RMB 2,655–2,660/ton. The company's Phase I methanol unit (600,000 tons/year) and Phase II methanol project (800,000 tons/year) are both operating steadily.
