On August 18, the construction design plan for the Phase I of the 150,000 tons/year coal tar deep processing project by Shanxi Guxian Tengda New Energy entered the pre-approval public notice period, transitioning from land use approval to engineering planning approval. The project is located in Baisu Village, Guyang Town, covering an area of 129.77 mu (approximately 8.65 hectares), with a total investment of 391 million yuan. It is scheduled to commence production in the first quarter of 2027, producing industrial naphthalene, modified pitch, and other products.
