Chempricehub, July 8th – KMC (Zimbabwe) is advancing the lithium sulfate deep-processing project at full speed. The project, with a total investment of approximately $200 million, includes a smelter and a sulfuric acid plant. It is designed with an annual processing capacity of 350,000 tons of lithium concentrate and an annual output of 75,000 tons of lithium sulfate, with operations slated to commence in 2027. Concurrently, KMC is also building a tin-niobium-tantalum separation project to achieve comprehensive recovery of mineral resources.
