ChemPriceHub, September 24 – On September 24, Sinopec South China set its posted price for toluene at RMB 8,600 per tonne. In the previous trading session, both toluene and xylene experienced slight weakness. Overnight gains in crude oil and aromatic futures on the night session, coupled with low inventories at ports and refineries, provided supply-side support for prices. However, as the upcoming long holiday approaches, market activity is expected to taper off. Uncertainties regarding Middle Eastern geopolitics have led to cautious buyer sentiment, limiting further upside potential. Consequently, intraday trends are likely to be characterized by firm pricing within a range-bound fluctuation.
