On August 17, Yankuang Group methanol auction update: Yankuang Guohong methanol competitive sales concluded with transactions at RMB 2,740–2,755/ton (ex-factory, cash payment basis), while its 640,000-ton/year coal-to-methanol plant is currently under maintenance. Yulin Yankuang's methanol starting auction price today was RMB 2,410/ton, with a volume of 5,000 tons; transaction results are pending follow-up. The company's Phase I 600,000-ton/year methanol plant and Phase II 800,000-ton/year methanol project are both operating steadily.
