East China mixed xylene offers have been raised, as the raw material side supports a stronger market trend.

Published on 2026-07-20

Chempricehub, July 20 - In East China, the mainstream spot quotation range for xylene is 6610-6620 RMB/ton, up 200 RMB/ton from the previous trading day. Last week, toluene and xylene markets showed a weak consolidation trend, with quotations slightly declining. Starting this weekend, geopolitical tensions drove a strong rise in international crude oil prices, improving market sentiment with a strong bullish outlook. Shandong refineries raised their ex-factory quotes, and the spot market generally followed suit today. Overall, this round of price increases is primarily supported by raw material costs. Going forward, focus should be on the trend of crude oil prices and the actual purchasing strength of downstream sectors.
