Chempricehub, June 5 - Japanese coal-based needle coke producers will raise the selling prices of needle coke products. Starting from July shipments, coal tar pitch used for needle coke and graphite electrodes will increase by 40%, while coke used for specialty carbon materials will increase by 20%. In addition, domestic oil-based needle coke producers in Japan are also considering price increases.
